Barrie Findlater (Granbury)
Creating school environments that maximize student learning has to be one of the most rewarding career options on the face of this earth. Barrie Findlater was successful as a teacher, principal, superintendent, director and consultant for over forty years in settings in rural/urban Alberta, Canada and in international schools in Mexico, Ecuador, Taiwan, Belgium and Haiti. Experience is such a great teacher and the opportunities afforded by such a range of diverse settings has given this first time author a wealth of background knowledge to help with the creation of a realistic work of fiction that hopefully provides the reader with an insider's view of what school principals face. Barrie is retired and spends winters in Mexico and summers with his family at Jackfish Lake, Alberta, Canada.
