One Week In November
During the three years that AJ has been living with her aunt, she has done everything in her power to keep her distance from her mother. Her life has been going far better than she ever thought possible. She has a room of her own, decent grades, and an amazing guy for a best friend. However, a phone call from her mother pulls her back into the confusion and drama of her childhood.
In an attempt to distract herself from her impending visit to see her mother, AJ focuses her attention on an elderly homeless man. Despite the cardboard sign that he holds on the corner, nothing about him seems to fit on the streets. AJ makes it her mission to discover who he is, and why he ended up alone.
