Six teams of uniquely gifted kids are discreetly invited to a secret competition at an unfamiliar fieldhouse. The teams compete in various challenges that test both their physical and mental abilities, but not always in the way they expect.
Rose is a small but feisty nine-year-old girl who gets invited to the competition while trying to escape her limited life at home and explore the world. On her way to the competition, she meets Marta and John, two kind twins who were also invited to the fieldhouse through a sequence of coded and invisible ink messages, starting with John's history teacher.
Two basketball prodigies, Carl and Joe, find their way to fieldhouse thinking that it was an enormous basketball tournament. At the fieldhouse they encounter the three other teams: friends Adella and Marisol, siblings Kylie and Eric, and an intense computer genius named Tim.
Each team excitedly pushes through the difficult challenges, striving to be selected to make it to the next level of an unknown mission, or at least trying to avoid the intense consequence of failure.
